The technical team behind your operations.

The technical team behind your operations.

We build the custom software, automation, and AI agents that run them.

Perry, Abstract Digital's founder, working through a job with two Dayton Power electricians in their shop

At Abstract, we know how much of your time goes to work that shouldn't need you, and that's why everything we build is designed to hand it back.

We spent fifteen years building systems inside some of the world's leading tech companies, and now we build them for you: planning, building, and keeping it all running, so you're free to grow the business instead of carrying it.

Work

What we do.

We find the bottleneck, then build and run the system that clears it, so the hours come back as margin and room to grow. Automation, custom software, and AI that earns its place.

  • Workflow Automation

Quoting, scheduling, intake, invoicing, follow-ups: the work that runs on someone remembering. We make it run on its own.

  • AI & Custom Agents

AI that reads, drafts, and answers the work that piles up, with your people approving what matters.

  • Custom Software

For the process no off-the-shelf tool fits. We build the system around how you actually work, and you own it outright.

  • Web & App Development

Everything downstream of your website: the intake, quoting, and customer flows it feeds. We build the site itself too, when you need one.

How it works.

  1. 01

    We start with a conversation.

A free discovery call where we learn how you work and what you most want fixed. No prep required.

  2. 02

We dig in, then you get a plan.

We map how the work actually runs, scaled to the complexity of the problem. You get back a scoped, priced plan you own.

  3. 03

We build it. You go live.

Your system ships in stages, so you see value early. Then it's yours: run it yourself, or have us keep it running.

Let's clear the bottleneck.

Tell us what you're trying to build, or what's costing you the most time. One call, and you'll leave knowing what we'd build, what it would give you back, and where we'd start.

Frequently asked questions.

How much does it cost to automate a workflow?

It depends on scope, which is why we scope before we price instead of quoting a vague starting number. The deep dive is a fixed fee sized to how much there is to map. The build is priced from the plan it produces, so you approve the number before work starts.

How long does a project take?

Most initial builds run four to eight weeks, depending on complexity. Custom product builds run longer and ship in sprints, so you see working software before the full engagement is done. Either way, you get a clear timeline and defined deliverables before any work begins.

Who owns the code and the accounts?

You do: the code, the accounts, and the access. Most clients have us host and manage the system too, so nobody on your team thinks about uptime, updates, or the day something breaks. That's a service, not a dependency. When an engagement ends, we hand over hosting, documentation, and access, and help your team or your next developer take it from there.

Can you fix or take over a system someone else built?

Yes, once we've reviewed how it's built and documented. Sometimes the right call is repairing and extending what you already have, and sometimes it's cheaper to rebuild it properly. We'll tell you which, honestly, before you spend anything on it.

What industries do you work with?

We go deepest in construction and the trades, property management, and professional services, and we also build for home services, real estate, finance, and SaaS. The common thread is process-heavy work that shouldn't still be manual. The specific systems differ by industry; the approach doesn't.

Is my business too small to work with you?

Almost certainly not. We work with owner-operated businesses where a single system removes hours of manual work every week, and with larger teams running multi-month builds. What matters is whether the problem is worth solving properly, not your headcount. If we genuinely aren't the right fit, we'll say so rather than sell you an engagement.
